You absolutely can NOT go wrong with a trip to Cabo (this spot has it all–scenic beaches, nightlife, shopping, the freshest food, art, Oh My!) and then to Todos Santos for a more secluded beautiful spot where farm to table presides and you feel the “real” Mexico while feeling safe. Nourishing for the Body, Mind & Soul!! I consider myself a traveler who rarely likes to visit twice BUT I would go back…there is nothing this trip did not have. There were also hikes and horseback riding for those who like to stay active.

Cabo:
We started in Cabo at the Hilton Beach and Golf Resort. The “Cabo” we all know or have heard of is known as “Los Cabos” and consists of 2 distinct areas: Cabo San Lucas and San Jose Del Cabo. Cabo San Lucas consists of all the big resorts and nightlife while San Jose Del Cabo features an artsy atmosphere with a focus on local culture and traditional Mexican charm. We stayed in Cabo San Lucas but LOVED visiting San Jose Del Cabo & they are only about 30 minutes from one another.
Must-Dos in Cabo:

- Visit Flora Farms: There is so much here! There are acres and acres of the gardens to explore that the restaurant uses. Eat at the restaurant and explore the gardens and shops! There was a live band playing when we visited. Note: The road to get there is bumpy. I recommend a 4-wheel drive especially is you are going on to Todos Santos. https://www.flora-farms.com/
- Explore the Streets and Shop in San Jose Del Cabo. It has such a great vibe, great shopping, sites and food!
- Take a boat to visit The Arch.
- Relax at one of the great resorts in this area. We stayed at the Hilton. The food was amazing and the sites were out of this world.
- Whale Watching–we saw several while laying on the beach BUT you can also take a boat ride to do some whale watching.
Todos Santos:
Todos Santos is about 1 hour from Cabo and well worth the drive! It is known for it’s laid-back vibes, natural beauty, cultural richness and thriving art scene. I think it my favorite place that I have ever been to in MX, probably because of all this and it is not too touristy. I felt like we were on our own on vacay but with everything we needed–the art scene, the fresh food, the shopping, hiking…I was in heaven!
Again I recommend a 4-wheel drive…IF there was a downside it is the roads…they are bumpy and sometimes hard to navigate.
Must-Dos in Todos Santos:

- Hike Old Port Trail (see view above)–If you go out & back it’s about 4 miles. Bring water as you are directly in the sun for most of the hike and start early!
- Explore Besame Mucho Bazaar. It is truly bizarre and wonderful! Nomad Chic is also a great boutique. Stroll around this area….there are tons of great shops and art and flowers are everywhere!!
- Eat at The Green Room. Get a reservation. It is worth it for the sunset views and even walking back to the place is breath-taking. AND, look at these drinks! https://www.thegreenroombcs.com/

- El Mirador–another great place to eat and watch the sunset
- La Esquina–this is right in town and has the best food! They are open for breakfast and lunch and feather the freshest juices. I LOVED the coconut-oat pancakes and burrito!!
- Explore the Art Galleries
- Jazamango Restaurant–great place for Mexican eats and explore the gardens for authentic farm to table.
What are you favorite spots in MX? What have liked in Cabo or Todos Santos?
XO!
Kelli
