It’s the perfect time of the year to go to Savannah!! Did you know that its history is rich with Ghost Stories? The weather is great with highs in the 70s & lows in the 60s in October. (Nov: highs 60s, lows 50s). Fall is just beautiful and the absolute best time to go!
If you are reader, definitely pick up “Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil” by John Berendt. You could also watch the movie. However, the book offers a lot more detail. In my opinion, reading the book is the way to go. This true story will get you in the mood for historical Savannah…it is set in Savannah & is a truly fascinating story of history and murder.
I recommend staying in the historic district. This way, you can really soak up the Spanish Moss hanging from the trees among the historic homes. You’ll also experience the real Savannah vibe. This city has it all….Beauty, History, Great Food, Shopping, Art….
